After purchasing & downloading CustomersToServe.zip, follow these steps to install and configure everything you need to start on boarding new customers today!

WordPress Installation

  • Navigate to your /wp-admin/ dashboard
  • Select Plugins from the left hand menu
  • Select Add New Plugin from the top of the page
  • Select Upload Plugin from the top of the page
  • Click the Choose File button from the top center of the page
  • select CustomersToServe.zip and click Open
  • Click Install Now
  • Click Activate

Congratulations! We’re one step closer to onboarding happy customers to your business! Now it’s time to configure your set up.

By default, CustomersToServe comes with a default sign up flow. We recommend editing these to get the ball rolling and then adding ontop of them to fit your actual business.

Configuring WordPress Plugin

The most important thing to remember is that we are building the start of your customer’s experience with your business. They’ve seen enough to do business with you and are no ready to make a decision of what they want to buy. We want this to be a positive experience while also being efficient at giving the customer enough information to make those decisions.

Start by going to the CTS Dashboard link on the left hand column of the /wp-admin/ interface

Areas

Areas are used to determine if a potential customer is in your service area or not. If you only serve 60 miles within your business but someone 300 miles away tries to sign up, this will notify them that they are not in your service area with out having to waste any more of their time and with out having to waste your company time on the phone.

  • Click the Areas link under the CTS Dashboard Menu

  • Hover over the Main Area entry and select Edit

  • Configure all the settings to reflect your business and don’t forget to set the new HQ location to where you base your business

  • click Edit and you’re all set!

Offers

Offers are a way to group together a set of steps and allow you to select what areas get what offers and when they get those offers. You might have different offers for winter than you do for summer and this would allow you to switch between the two when the seasons change.

  • Click the Offers link under the CTS Dashboard Menu

  • Hover over the Main Offer entry and select Edit

  • Configure these settings to reflect your businesses

  • Click Edit and you’re all set!

Steps

Steps are a way to group together a set of options. Each step would display it’s own set of options where the user must select an option before they are able to navigate to the next step of the sign up. You might have different tiers of services that you can group together with a step like a basic package, advanced package, and an elite package.

  • Click the Steps link under the CTS Dashboard Menu

  • Hover over the Select Service Type entry and click Edit

  • Configure these settings to match your desired first step.

  • Click Edit and you’re all set!

Options

Options are the actual service package that a customer can choose to purchase from you. might be a yes / no option, might be a chose 1 – 2 – or 3 option etc…

By default, we have set up 3 options: option 1, option 2, and option 3.

  • Click the Options link under the CTS Dashboard Menu

  • Hover over an option and click Edit

  • Configure these settings to match your package details

  • Click Edit and you’re all set!

Adding Additional Information

If you are a single service with 3 package option business, you’re all set! But if you need to build out more areas, offers, steps, or options to complete your sign up process then continue reading this section.

Areas

Setting up multiple Areas allows you to have all your potential customers for different locations sign up through your website. You can assign which offers are available to which areas too. Making it so you can have different areas with all the same offer/steps/options, each area can have unique offers/steps/options, you can even set the same area but a bigger radius that has it’s own offer.

  • Click the Areas link under the CTS Dashboard Menu

  • Click Create A New Service Area link

  • Fill out the form with your desired data

  • Click Create and you’re all set!

Offers

Setting up multiple Offers is allows you to quickly change and assign a new sign up process for your customers in your service area(s). Use offers to group different season offerings, different promotional sales, different levels of services to different areas, etc…!

  • Click the Offers link under the TS Dashboard Menu

  • Click Create A New Area Offer link

  • Fill out the form with your desired data

  • Click Create and you’re all set!

Setting up multiple Steps is essential to crafting your customer on boarding experience and allows you to break up the required input and allow for more real estate on the screen to explain the options.

  • Click the Steps link under the CTS Dashboard Menu

  • Click Create A New Offer Step link

  • Fill out the form with your desired data

  • Click Create and you’re all set!

Options

Setting up multiple options is also essential to turning potential customers into paying customers. Lay out the Options your business offers for the Step you’re building and give your customers the chance to choose what’s right for them.

  • Click the Options link under the CTS Dashboard Menu

  • Click Create A New Step Option link

  • Fill out the form with your desired data

  • Click Create and you’re all set!
